Technical or Emotive?

I think when I look at a picture I am reacting to a little bit of both. If I had to chose though I think I would react more to emotive quality. I think I react more to what I feel about a picture rather than pay attention to things such as lighting, placement, and angle. For example, if I were to look at a picture of a family at the beach I would be more likely to like the picture because I can relate to it and I feel what the photographer was trying to capture.

Rivers and Tides 1). I think that there is a lot of appeal in working with all natural/alternatve materials in your atrwork. The thing about it that appeals to me the most would be the fact that its not manmade. Anything that is created in nature would be better to work with because your using things that were made by God and the earth which must be truly rewarding. Some advantages of this would be that its going to be very original and unique because others arent going to use the same things you did. The only disadvantage i can think of would...

A3 Lighting Assaignment I honestly feel I could have done better on this lighting assignment. I know I put forth the effort to get a good picture but I don’t think that really happened. I got a bunch of mediocre pictures but I still feel like I haven’t gotten the hang of it yet. I saw the assignment more straight-forward.
